Connecting Crunch
Use API credentials from Crunch to authorise the integration and auto-map accounts to your forecast.
ForezynPlan integrates directly with Crunch accounting, automatically importing your actuals so you can track performance against your forecast without manual data entry.
Connecting Crunch
Go to Settings → Integrations → Crunch. Click 'Connect to Crunch'. You can also sign in to ForezynPlan using your Crunch credentials — this links the integration automatically as part of sign-in.
What ForezynPlan imports from Crunch
Invoices (mapped to Income components), Expense categories including Cost of Sales, Operating Costs (Premises, Repairs & Maintenance, Admin, Motor & Travel, Advertising, Legal & Professional, Donations), and Employee Costs (Salaries, NIC, Training, Benefits, Pensions). Client groups and expense groups are imported with their hierarchical structure preserved.
Mapping to ForezynPlan components
After connecting, you'll see a mapping screen. Map each Crunch category to the matching ForezynPlan component type: Invoices → Income, cost categories → Cost of Sales or Operational Cost, employee costs → Employees. Crunch's hierarchical expense groups are shown so you can map at the right level of detail.
Sync frequency and architecture
Syncs run automatically daily. Manual sync is available at any time from Settings → Integrations → Crunch → Sync Now. The integration uses an async Azure Functions architecture with queue-based processing, so large imports complete reliably even for busy Crunch accounts.
Viewing actuals
After syncing, toggle to Actuals view in your model editor to see Crunch figures overlaid on your forecast. Use the Budget Variance, P&L Variance, and Cash Flow Variance reports for side-by-side comparison.
