Two-Factor Authentication
Enable TOTP-based 2FA with recommended authenticator apps and securely store your backup codes.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second verification step when signing in, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorised access even if your password is compromised.
Enabling 2FA
Go to Settings → Account → Security → Two-Factor Authentication. Click 'Enable 2FA'. You'll see a QR code.
Scanning the QR code
Open an authenticator app on your phone: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password. Scan the QR code. The app will add ForezynPlan and begin generating 6-digit codes that change every 30 seconds.
Completing setup
Enter the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app into the verification field in ForezynPlan. Click Verify. Save your recovery codes — these are one-time-use codes you can use if you lose access to your authenticator app.
Signing in with 2FA
After enabling 2FA, you'll be asked for a 6-digit code after entering your password on any new or unrecognised device. Enter the current code from your authenticator app.
Recovery codes
Store your recovery codes in a secure location (password manager or printed and stored safely). Each code can only be used once. If you've used all your codes, contact support to regain access.
Disabling 2FA
Go to Settings → Account → Security → Two-Factor Authentication → Disable. You'll be asked to verify with your current 2FA code before disabling.
