Performance & Loading Issues
A slow dashboard, charts not rendering, and browser requirements — with troubleshooting steps for each.
If ForezynPlan is loading slowly or feels unresponsive, the following steps typically resolve performance issues.
Large model optimisation
Models with 150+ rows or 10+ year timeframes can be slower to render. Try archiving old scenarios you no longer need, or splitting a very large model into separate focused models.
Browser
ForezynPlan performs best in the latest versions of Chrome or Edge. Firefox and Safari are supported but may render large grids slightly slower. Update your browser to the latest version.
Extensions
Ad blockers or privacy extensions can interfere with WebSocket connections (used for real-time collaboration). Try in an incognito window (extensions disabled by default) to test.
Internet connection
ForezynPlan is a real-time web application — it requires a stable internet connection. Check your connection speed and try on a different network if possible.
Memory
Close unused browser tabs. ForezynPlan's model editor is memory-intensive for large models. Having 20+ tabs open can cause slowness on lower-memory devices.
Reported slowness
If slowness started suddenly and you haven't made model changes, check the System Status page (support.forezynplan.com/status). It may be a platform-level issue we're already investigating.
